Lauron Sonnier has dedicated her entire career to marketing in one form or another, and it is obvious that she is passionate about it. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and has 20 years of hands-on marketing experience. She has worked in advertising and television serving the needs of many, as a marketing director managing the program of one, and as owner of her own marketing consulting firm since 1995. She teaches companies and audiences throughout the company how to be marketing machines. She has just published a daily marketing guide called 365 Ways to Stir the Pot and Put Marketing Into Action! and will have a book released in July 2009 by Career Press titled Think Like a Marketer: What It Really Takes to Stand Out from the Crowd, the Clutter, and the Competition. She has been featured on HoustonPBS in a series of marketing tips called Standing Out with Lauron Sonnier. Clients and audiences describe Lauron as inspiring, straight-forward, and powerful. Her family calls her stubborn and a workaholic. And, yes, in case you're wondering, Lauron is a Cajun from Louisiana, which means she couldn't talk if you tied her hands.
